Hi. I've been fighting this since upgraded from A53 to A54.

I receive email messages with work issues that must be seen ASAP. Thing is  all battery optimization settings are disabled. All apps are seeing set to not be optimized.

But in the long run the phone has a delay of 10 minutes to send a notification, unless unlocked first.

Fixed it using ADB but that has to be done after every reboot and it's annoying.

No other Android phones we have present that problem so it's a Samsung thing.

Will you fix this someday soon? I'm reading lots of posts in this forum and everywhere for Z and S series too.

Hi @iampowerslave and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing these issues with your Samsung a⁵⁴ phone. 😔

Usually Clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section helps > Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

Also if a person uses Samsung SmartSwitch to move across data from one phone to another when setting up the new phone then this can sometimes causes issues , especially if issues existed on the original phone that's been potentially moved over with the back up.

I've also known people Back up and Factory Reset and then set the phone back up manually.

Also using Safe Mode can help as a process of elimination.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hi @BandOfBrothers

We tried that already, no luck. Thanks.

My apologies I wouldn't have suggested those troubleshooting steps if I'd have known @iampowerslave

Hopefully the feedback you've sent to Samsung via your Samsung Members App will yield results.

If you perform a forum search you may find existing threads with some further help or guidence within.

Take care 😎

I've seen some recent posts in this forum, xda and reddit as well as old ones. So it seems Samsung haven't done much about it.

It seems a feature to save battery that can't be disabled unless forced with ADB.

I don't want to root a new phone and loose warranty to fix it
