Hi @oldguydy ,
I'm sorry to hear that you feel let down. May I ask what USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack are you using? Have you tried yo plug a different headset to see if the same message displays?

Hi @oldguydy you can use an adaptor for wired Headphones, see some information here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-connect-headphones-to-a-galaxy-device
on another point users can actually use Bluetooth and Airplane mode at the same time, need to manually turn it on when Flight Mode enabled. Airlines may have slightly different regulations though, usually not allowed on take off and landing.

@oldguydy USB-C Headphones or a a 3.5mm to USB-C dongle adaptor should certainly work. Ensure you have the latest updates and may need to restart Device. See more troubleshooting here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/what-to-do-if-there-is-no-sound-from-your-wired-he...
Yes Flight Mode has uses other than on planes but just thought I would mention that.
