Anyone else having issues with bluetooth headsets being unablunable to answer, hear or make phone calls from ?
In the past month all my bluetooth headphones will not work with my galaxy A52S mobile phone. I've uninstall the headphones, repaired, updated headset software all without success.
If I'm listening to media and receive a phone call I can't hear it in the headphones, the phone call stays with the phone.
The headsets all work for calls with iphone OI and an old android phone with a version of android OI of 3, but not mine which is 6.1, android version 14.
Anyone know of any updates to correct this issue?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community!
I haven't experienced this personally, and hopefully, someone can provide a more direct solution.
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Bluetooth.
Clear cache partition.
Plug your phone into a PC/laptop first.
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/
What I would do is go to the Samsung Members app > Support > Feedback and explain this issue. If it is a software problem, this will get the information into the right hands.

Hey there and welcome to the Samsung UK and EU Community Customer to Customer Forum
Have you preformed a Reset Network Settings on your device please?
You'll need to re-input your WiFi passwords and re-pair your Bluetooth devices but won't lose data.

Hi Piper123,
Thanks for replying. I reset my network settings (unintentional coincidence) last week with no success. I tried deleting all Internet cache at the same time though I don't have a specific bluetooth cache setting on my phone I can see to delete.

Hi John.
I wonder if u could give me some advice im currently using the S25 Ultra & before I had the S24 but both refuse any wired headphones with coincidentally both on plug in to usb say damp or something in port so dry immediately but there's nothing in it and I had this on taking it out of the box so these are quality wired headphones so is it just a Gimic to get us all to go wireless with Pods or is there a app or a fix to allow me to plug in what has always in past worked perfectly..
Please help 🙏

Thank you for confirming.
Can you please try (although given the amount of troubleshooting you've already done I suspect you may have tried this)
1. Unpair everything
Now go to:
Settings
Connections
Bluetooth
Pair one set of headphones of your choice...
Now, go to your list of paired devices and for the headphones you should see a settings cog on the same line as the headphones.
Click on this.
Here you have personalisation options. Is Calls Toggled on? If yes, can you please try calls. Does this pick up on your phone or your headphones? (may need to check volume whilst you are in the call).

Hi,
Yes already tried all that. I've checked all my device settings for anomalies and there aren't any.
As you know when a call comes through to a phone the phone display shows the incoming caller ID. I can see the Bluetooth icon on the caller display is green showing it is connected to a Bluetooth device, i. e. my headphones. Then almost immediately within one ring it drops the Bluetooth connection, the icon greys out and the call comes through the phone. Happens exactly the same on my wife's S10.
Thanks for the advice, appreciate it.

It is not a gimmick, but the reasoning behind the warning may be multifaceted.
Buy an air canister and try clearing the port and the headphones. Maybe attempt using a dongle instead of connecting directly to the phone. Is this happening with all headphones, or just some? I only use wireless but tested with my wired ones and they seem to work okay.

Hi pal and I appreciate your time to reply & apologies for poor predicted text.
I have wireless headphones which work without issue but the ATG Samsungs i got with a previous flip wont work in the S24 or S25 Ultra.
I tried 2 other wired sets but with both phones they refuse to connect & won't acknowledge they there at all.
The Air canister i brilliant idea i will definitely try that in case something worked its way in but with it doing so on different devices it a strange one .
Thank u again John 🙏👌
