Following update, Samsung A53 can't update any apps in Google Play Store? I have plenty of storage, cleared cache from Playstore and restarted phone, nothing is fixing issue? Anyone have this problem and know how to resolve please?

Hi, there is no error message, the apps start to download then just get stuck on a %. I've contacted both providers who tell me there is no issue on broadband line. The apps all update over data OK but when the WiFi is enabled, the apps just stick. I cant download any new apps from Google play store either. I've restarted and cleared all cache.

I have the same issue on galaxy a54. Apps start updating gets to about 80% then get a pop up saying couldn't update . Currently have 16 pending. I've cleared cache of the Google play app. No different. Phone is up to date with all Samsung updates.1751018058787.jpg

I've spoken to Samsung Support who have tried remote support earlier without any luck. They have logged the issue and are reporting it up to Samsung software development Team. Hope it's a quick fix

Hi I've got s25 and im having the same trouble been like it for a week since I done the phones update 😕

It's awful! Can't download apps or update the ones I have. I can update any Samsung Apps without issue. I've just noticed the phone has restarted outside it's schedule. I'm waiting on Samsung Support to email any info and updating apps via mobile data for now. I don't want to do this for my banking apps however. I hope we get it resolved soon.

I have the same problem everything was fine until 3 days ago, not happening on just Samsung it also on my Pixel, I've contacted Google hopefully they will put out a fix.

I really did think maybe I done something to start the problem but glad its not and im not the only one who's suffering with this ridiculous problem, as the same as you I can download samsung apps perfectly and only download google apps with mobile data im also waiting on samsungs email back but im not holding my breath I've been a samsung user since I was about 14 which was a very long time ago but things like this make me question why I bother to be a loyal customer anymore, fingers crossed they get it sorted soon for us 🙏🤞

I've spoken to Google customer services and they have tried their absolute best while I was taking instructions from them to try and resolve the issue, I thought to check my network who is Sky, it looks like customers are having the same problem with Play store trying to update and install new apps over WiFi, it works over data they also daid, they have reported to Sky.

Are any of you with Sky? If yes please report it to them.
