Hi all, first post.
I went with my wife to buy the new S24 Ultra on 2 year contract as there was a cracking deal at Currys. When the guy came to price her old phone for trade in it was rejected. ( it did not appear on list of phones for trade in).
Now this phone is a year old Samsung A14 in immaculate condition and without issues so why would it not be suitable for trade in and is it worthless now? Cheers.

It's a very low value device to begin with, no resale value in it for them whatsoever.

Hi, and welcome to the UK community

I'd keep it as a backup in case of emergencies.

It didn't have much value when brand new that's why, most trade in offers from companies are for higher value handsets. She could sell it online as she would get more than a trade in.

Not all phone models are eligible for Trade-in @totonumber1

Some flagships are sometimes not an option too.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
