Hi @kalhy whilst not strongest performer the A35 is one of the better mid range Devices and you should be having a better experience. It is best practice to put some apps which are not used a great deal into Sleep Mode and can be advantageous to only have connections such as Wifi/Bluetooth and GPS running when needed. if you have a lot of apps running in the background you may need to close some.
An idea to try a Soft Reset by holding the Power and Volume Down Button simultaneously for around 10 seconds.
if still lagging after this Troubleshooting could try clearing the cache partition which can help in this situation and is recommended after updates. Follow these steps:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.
