This Samsung Model: SM-A536B/DS

My phone keeps restarting and rebooting ever since updates 6.0 and 6.1.

Samsung did a software test. They said the following:

Our experts looked into the issue and have been able to identify an issue with your A53 - the Wi-Fi Access Point (AP) malfunctioned 8 times. They have recommended that you have your phone inspected
 When liaising with our engineers or Support Teams, please note that our experts have mentioned that an inspection of your phone's "AP (Access Point), DRAM (Dynamic random-access memory) and PCB (printed circuit board)" would be advisable. This will make sense to the engineer.

Would Samsung as a good faith gesture repair this for me considering warranty was only up at the start of June? This phone only started giving issues after the Samsung updates.

Before surrendering the phone for assessment @Members_RB1ENRc please do try >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If that fails to help then let a Samsung Service Centre have hands on with your phone and at that point they'll advise of any cost to you.

Take time and date stamped photo's of the phone to be able to prove it's aesthetic condition. Take one of the phone turned On and if possible one of any visible water indicator strip  { One maybe visible in the sim card slot area }

Unfortunately we can't advise here on the forum whether they will or won't charge a fee.

Do let us know how you get on please.  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

6.1 bricked my S-21. Impossible to restart. I did manage to do a factory reset, but then when I turned it on to the welcome page the touch screen did not work.

Not going to risk it on my A54.
