Do you have all the updates? My wife and I can connect to devices via. Bluetooth. I wonder if it's an app causing the problems.

My wife and I both have A8s that connect fine. By the way, the header of this thread is pretty meaningless now, I wonder how many updates there have been since it started?

People seem to hate the new Fitbit update. But as I said, since I updated my A8 last week it's been great. You might not have the newest. If it is the old software no one can fix it.

For those who haven't read the whole thread, Samsung flashed my firmware. Before that Bluetooth wouldn't scan. Now it does, and usually finds my Fitbit Charge 3 - but it says it can't connet and never shows up as connected. BUT EVEN THOUGH IT DOESN'T SHOW, IT STILL SYNCS! Don't assume it won't. It sometimes take a few tries however.

I just want to repeat here that having my phone's firmware flashed fixed my problem and my phone connects with my Charge 2.

Just to say I connected my Mpow headphones successfully. So the flashed software has worked to an extent. I may have turned off my Fitbit notifications in error. I did reboot to safe mode once.

Just to update. Samsun Centre flashed my A8. I was able to reconnect to my car and TomTom as I had before, and scan worked - usually. It had stopped before. Tried to connect many times to my Charge 2 and was told it failed. In fact I am connected but it doesn't show as connected on my phone, not acceptable. Right now I'm struggling to connect to my new Mpow bluetooth headphones. iPod connected easily, but once again the scan button doesn't always work. The headphones have showed up but failed to pair.

I went to the Nottingham Samsung Centre yesterday. They flashed my phone and Bluetooth now works. Odd thing though, I tried over and over to pair with my Fitbit Charge 2. Sometimes nothing happened, other times it tried and said failed. It's not showing as a connected device, but hey! It's syncing anyway. Weird. I'm still nervous though as it doesn't scan every time I touch "scan".

I tried to connect my phone to my car this morning. It connected and I could listen to my audiobook, but on my phone it looked as though it was still searching for my car until it finally disappeared and didn't show connected on my phone. I couldn't connect on my return journey. So now I can't connect to my car or my Fitibit - and Scan fails to do anything at all. This is ridiculous.

I also found today that my phone won't scan and has lost connection to my Fitbit. I've reported it to Samsung via the 3 dots method suggested earlier - that also sends a system log. Oddly my wife's phone, same model, connect to my car easily yesterday. And to TomTom. When she gets back tonight I'll check to see if she's connected to her Fitbit Charge 3. I just checked and it's still connected to my TomTom. Sadly neither of our phones were renamed to distinguish them, so I suspect I may not be able to reconnect to my car so that I can listen to my audio books.
