Hey everyone! I found a screen defect on my A35 it has a dead pixel at the top of the screen a little right of the selfie camera it only really appears on orange/red backgrounds is this covered under warranty? or do you need more dead pixels to qualify for a screen replacement? also I know its dead cause it's just a black dot.

Hi @Ravena256 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

I'm sorry to learn of the issues with the pixel on your phone.

There is a troubleshooting step you can try >

In your phone dialer in the keypad option type in *#0*#

This will then show a number of diagnostic options.

One js a set of colour test panels fkr you to scroll through a few times to see if that will jolt the pixel back to working.

This is a Samsung help link > I-have-dead-pixel-on-my-samsung-mobile.

Another link from a help website > https://www.wikihow.com/Fix-Dead-Pixels-on-Android

A recent thread > https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s24-series/s24-ultra-dead-pixel.

If not then you would have to submit the phone to Samsung for assessment and they'll advise if the work will be covered under the Samsung Limited Manufacturer's Warranty or not.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎
