This doesn't work as well as it did on v.5.0! There were no earbuds around then, so it was only the analogue plug that was affected, meaning I still had full control over my Bt speaker volume.
This is no longer the case.
I am very grateful that Samsung saw fit to keep the analog headphone socket. However, anyone who uses it won't be using buds but now has to put up with the inconvenience of losing Bt speaker control and having an annoying dialog pop up every time you switch the speaker on.
I believe this could be easily improved by adding an option to apply the media volume limit to the headphone socket only.

Hey there
By "annoying pop up" are you referring to the warning about high volume causing damage to bearing?
If yes then I'm afraid you're stuck with it. Samsung put this there as a safety message to protect people's hearing, provide choice and ultimately remove the risk of legal action being taken after users use a device at high volume for long periods and damage their hearing.

It's the one that invites you to go to Settings. If what you say is true then it's not only overkill on the safety front but counterproductive as I now know to turn it off and forget about it. It worked better in v.5.0

I find the annoying volume limit reached dialogue box to be a pain. When you press cancel, you end up with it stuck on the screen.

Not just me then! Come on, Samsung, no one can afford to sue you, there's a cost of living crisis!
