Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy A32. When I make or receive a call it cuts me off within a minute or sometimes a little longer. I have to ring them back which sometimes works or sometimes takes a couple of attempts to keep me connected. My provider is o2. They sent me a new sim card which helped for a short while but is now back to cutting me off. Has anyone else had this problem or can tell me what it can be. O2 not much help!!

Few questions. Are you on wifi, are you moving, do you have wifi calling enabled, do you have VoLTE enabled? Modern calling is rather complicated. Basically, calls are switching to using wifi and 4g/5g data to carry the call instead of normal phone services. With complexity causes potential random issues though

I am on WiFi and sat still while on the calls. I don't have WiFi calling enabled but was going to do that to see if it helps. And I don't know what VoLTE is!!

Wifi calling and VoLTE should always be on, might fix your issue. Basically, wifi calling sends the call data over WiFi, like whatsapp or discord. VoLTE allows the call data to be sent over the 4g and 5g data channel. To avoid being super complex, 3g has a data side and call side. 4 and 5 g are data only, so calls must use VoLTE to work. Without it, phone calls will drop your phone to 3g till the call ends. If you don't see VoLTE it means your device is on the older side and doesn't support it. Since the uk are keeping 3g on, it's not too end of the world for youScreenshot_20241023_170938_Call settings_1000052271_1729699814.pngScreenshot_20241023_170947_Settings_1000052272_1729699800.png

Ah, you do. Just seems your phone carrier renamed it to "4g calling". 4g and LTE are the same thing. Good it's on :smiling-face:

I should add, this icon means wifi calling is working. If it's not there, change wifi calling settings to "wifi preferred"Screenshot_20241023_175010_One UI Home~2_1000052276_1729702232.png
