does anyone know why my samsung galaxy A53 5G phone is having intermittent signal issues with mobile data and calling since the latest update? I've tried everything from changing the sim card, to wiping the cache partition and nothing so far has worked, carrier claims it isn't their side that has the issue, so I can only presume an update caused it as mobile data was working fine before the 6.1 update

They have seemingly fixed the issue via an update on the galaxy store, check for updates and install them, this should fix the issue (particularly keep an eye out for samsung pass, continuity app and quick share updates)

I have the same problem.  The technical assistance got me to factory reset the phone but nothing changed.... And then they said that it was because of sim card outdated, then because of carrier, but my sim card works perfectly fine on another phone and it appeared with a software udpate.

I'm getting the same. SIM works fine in another phone. Factory reset has made no difference and restarts only brings connectivity back for a few minutes.

Looking at the SIM Manager it appears to cycle between seeing and not seeing the SIM.

I started having issues with my Galaxy A53 on 13th March.
After update, i shutdown my phone on 12th March night before sleep, 13th March morning booted phone with IMEI (both) missing (unknown) and speaker not working. It had soft airplane mode turned on (forced) and SIM card cannot be used.

Did
- network reset - not fixed
- factory reset - not fixed
- samsung service center (authorized) - flashed new version - not fixed

Apparently, service center returned stating that my A53 motherboard is broken (worked fine before update and shut down the night before). Very frustrating to spend RM1,500 for reliable mid-range phone now samsung service center is asking for RM 950 for motherboard replacement. A 5 year worth of investment rendered useless in 2+ year.

My serial number is R5CT4**PZW*
Can someone share their redacted serial? im suspecting its a problem from a batch of their production?

I gave up on the same issue which was on a 3 year old A53 5g and purchased a Pixel 9.

Serial was RZCTA**P6N*
