I am wondering if anyone else is having the following issue:
I have recently updated my samsung a34 5g mobile phone to the latest Samsung ui and android 15 and ever since I did that my device randomly starts to blare my ringtone at full volume without anyone even calling me and the only way to stop it is to lock my phone and unlock again. I don't know whether this is a bug or not but it isn't meant to do that.
I was just wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has this problem or anyone who had that problem and no longer has it or even anyone who works for or knows someone who works for samsung uk to possibly fix this issue.
I have to keep my phone on vibrate or silent to stop it from keep doing it.

Hi and Welcome.

Software updates can have weird effects on phones given different people have different set ups.

Things I love doing after a software update.

1. Keep checking for app updates on both Samsung and Google stores for atleast two weeks after update.

2. Do a Simple phone Restart.

3. Do a Phone WIPE CACHE.
Lots of videos on YouTube how to do it.

Hope you enjoy your phone.

Hi, thanks for the ideas but i have been doing all of them and I think it is to do with the actual update itself. I haven't done wipe cache but I will do that in a moment once I have replied to you. Do you have any idea if this is a common issue / occurrence, if so do you know anybody who had had this issue.

Android 15 was buggy even for Google Pixel users and it kinda spilled over to One UI 7

I didn't really have much issues on my S25 ultra but a lot of people have been reporting different weird issues . Again as everyone's setup and apps used is different.

Hopefully future updates will stabilise.

Keep the faith. 🙏

The UI 7 / Android 15 downgrade has made my (previously trust) A34 5G just about unusable. One of the (many) problems I have is that the phone doesn't ring for every third call. I don't use tones for the few notifications that I have allowed as I like to respect others' privacy / peace so no idea if that's similarly affected.

It was very irritating to have to change the notofication setting for each app back to what I wanted ratrher than what Samsung thought I should have.

Hearing aid interface no longer works.

Other than that, just the same issues as everyone else with this bug-ridden software that was allowed to escape - random crashes, battery life halved, over heating.

Good idea, I tried that too but the app now won't work on my A34 as notifications have to enabled to supply feedback and the option to do that is greyed out.....

To fix the issue I had to factory reset my phone, that's what Samsung said to do

I have same problem. When my phone blocked I have to do hardware reset. Twice time per day. So today after crush and hard. reset my phone said that one application crushed multiple times and send them in deep sleep.  I uninstaled that application and now I'm waithing. I hope that will be ok now.
