Sometimes and only recently, charging will stop and start until I unplug/plug the USB cable a few times, whether the phone is on or off. This occurs with every outlet in my home, and these outlets do not detrimentally affect any other electrical device plugged in to them. The phone and cable came in the packaging and are about 6 months old. I'm wondering if this issue is related to the screen problem I had within the first month or so, where half the screen would become multicoloured squares at random. Or, maybe I just need a new official cable. The phones software is up to date and Google and Galaxy Store says everything is up to date. I restart my device twice a day. I charge with the phone off 9 times out of 10. No cracks or visible damage, or blockage in the USB port. USB headphones work fine. I did a factory reset.
