Hi everyone. I just got my A26 and I'm on the second week. It's charging really slow and the battery drops quickly too. I'm wondering if this is because it's a 5G phone. This is my first 5G phone. I previously used the A23 and both have the same 5000MAH battery. Is this normal?

Yes. Got the charger at the Samsung store and using the cable that came in the pack.

My battery learning usage pattern took 48 hours but I will keep observing until next week. Hopefully it improves.

@SS090 Battery drain will be a bit higher initially. As far as the charging goes a few things you could try, if you have a number of apps running in the background that will slow things down. Ideally the background apps should be shut down and only keep any necessary ones open. May not necessarily be the case but ensure that there is no debris in the charging port as that could have an effect , give it a thorough clean just to rule that out. you could check the Diagnostics in Samsung-Members-Support and if necessary send an Error Report via Support-Send Feedback-power/Battery/Charging. Include details and ensure system logs are enclosed.
sometimes clearing the cache partition can help with charging issues, sometimes temporary cache files can become outmoded or corrupt. These files will be deleted but your Data is intact.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Connect To Computer , other Device or TV USB, Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. Wait until the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

I actually spoke with Samsung support and they ran the diagnostics, all was fine. I will try the second method. Thank you
