My kids each have A14 phones through MMGuardian. We've had issues with one charging since last november. It will eventually charge but charges so slowly, no matter what cable or charger we use. Fast charging is enabled in settings.
Fast forward and things are getting worse. Now the phone doesn't charge or charges so slow that it dies before it gets past 2 or 3 percent.
I took it to our local shop for repair, they replaced the charging port. Still no change. I paid for a battery replacement, reluctantly - and that also did not resolve the issue. They tell me it may be an IC chip issue. This phone wasn't even a year old when it started having issues and now I have no idea what to do with it.
MMGuardian says they can't support it and sends me to Samsung. According to Samsung there's no more warranty on the phone. I've already put $130 into repairs on the phone that didn't work. What are my options?

I tried to do a hard reset of the device via android menu but MMGuardian has turned that feature off apparently - so I will get my kids passcode in the morning to reset it through the app, or try to if they haven't turned that off too...
