Not at all,
I cleared 4.5gb, and nothing happened, however I did got into little trouble by deleting Data in few apps, such as WhatsApp, so kind of reinstalled it (I am not too bothered with keeping chat history)

Now I daily spend 5 to 9 minutes, cleaning some biggest culprits such as Facebook.

No you should not lose as cache contains only temporary data.
