Galaxy Buds+ Microphone not used by Default in Android Camera Recorder app, or in Whatsapp Video apps

Hi all,

I recently purchase Galaxy Buds+ (SM-R175).

Sometimes my phone calls revert back to the inbuilt phone microphone.

Whenever I try to record video via the native phone camera recording app, my Buds+ microphone does not get used, rather the inbuilt phone microphone.

The same applies when I try to record video via Whatsapp.

I want the Galaxy Buds+ microphone to always be preferred as the default, when the headset is connected.

Hi, as far as I know, the Buds microphones only get used in the camera app, when you choose "Pro Video" mode and explicitly choose the Buds as your microphone.

No other mode in the camera app supports this though.
