Hi all,
I have only had my A71 for a few days but have noticed quite an annoying issue whereby there is an odd yellow tint to the left side of the screen which comes and goes randomly. I have looked online and seen other users with a similar issue on other devices but there's was solved via turning off the blue light filter.
The issue I have doesn't appear to be related to the blue light filter as I have never turned it on. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

This defect is affecting ALL units of the Galaxy A71 and S10 Lite. No exception. Probably due to the super amoled plus display. This is a difficult defect to detect, so many users believe that their device does not have the problem, but the truth is that people do not follow the correct steps to verify the problem.
As I already had 2 units of the A71, I realized that the visibility of this defect can vary according to the device. That is, this defect may be visible in different shades of dark gray, depending on the device. Sometimes the nuances are minimal, but always dark gray. Sometimes, the problem is visible when using apps in dark mode, in other situations, the problem is more restricted.
To check, go to a completely dark room, reduce the brightness to between 5% and 10%, and place the two gray images below in full screen.
Some users of the S20 also have a similar defect, but the discoloration is green. The feedback is that even after updating the S20 to fix this problem, the problem continues. In some cases the problem has been minimized, but it still exists. This is a hardware defect! No software updates can fix it. There is also another problem. When rolling dark images, (mostly black) a bluish drag accompanies the image. Samsung is trying to HIDE the problem, as few customers notice the defect and request a warranty. And if everyone becomes aware of the problem, and requests a change of screen or device, the losses to Samsung would be astronomical. Besides, everyone who has their unit replaced, or the screen replaced, receives the new device with the same defect. And Samsung continues to manufacture new units with the same defect. It's impressive! And Samsung's attendants, as always, are totally uninformed and unprepared. Before buying, I asked technical support if this defect widely reported by users of the A71, was a problem that affected all units, or were isolated cases. The attendant did not answer my question, and just said that I shouldn't worry, and I could buy peacefully because, if the device had such a defect, Samsung would do the repair. Now I ask: Who buys a cell phone thinking about repair? Even so I decided to take a risk and bought it. The first unit I received had this defect. I replaced the device, and the second unit, in addition to the same defect, has a serious battery drain problem, which causes it to discharge about 50% at night, without use. Samsung needs to speak up! And offer a valid solution! Update does not solve, as it is an engineering defect of the screen! They are trying to hide the problems of these devices in order not to assume the responsibility and the costs of repairs. Apart from the irresponsibility of continuing to produce and sell these damaged devices!
My two A71.

I'm also suffering from this same issue. Samsung is not going to look into this matter. Now a days most of the phones from Samsung are coming with some kind of directs. They are acting monopoly, but they should understand its all in the hands of customers. I'm also working in a company and I know how companies working ***** hard to retain the customers. Personally I'm never going to buy a Samsung product ever again and I will not allow any of my relatives and friends to buy one. I bought galaxy A51 and sold it because of heating issue ( samsung haven't replaced it) and then I bought A71 hopping that it will be a good one, but now suffering from screen issue.
