Galaxy A71 on-screen volume bar randomly appears and beeps

Does anyone else have this happen? This is what it looks like:

It appears, beeps loudly at me, and won't disappear unless I minimize whatever I'm doing. And then, half the time, I re-open the screen I was in and it pops up again. I've searched high and low online and can't find any other complaints about this. Any ideas?

@TeaGodfrey: Not sure what could be causing this. Can you check to see if your Volume Up button on the side of the device is sticking at all when you press it?

Interesting idea! So I took my phone case off and noticed that I don't have it happen when it's off. My case must've been pressing on the buttons. DOH.
