Same issue, had phone less than a week.  First Samsung I've owned, not impressed...  Am going to play around further and if I stumble across the reason/a fix, will share.

ISSUE RESOLVED:

Despite my Bitmoji App looking like it should not cause a conflict,  I decided to remove it anyway.  Rebooted my phone and suddenly notifications are working again.

Points to software conflict,  suggest anyone else with same issues considers deleting similar  apps and seeing if that helps.

Here is the solution that works for me.

Change Power Mode from "Medium power saving" to "Optimized"

- Settings > Device care > Battery > Power Mode > Optimized .

What is my irritation is that you cant have different options for calls and apps/messages. All is the same. Either it's on or off.

I bought Samsung A71 last week and have the same problem, with outlook app and telegram, but by coincidence I figured it out for me, I have an to clean the storage and boost the phone called "clean master", it has an option to minimize notifications, and don't show it. I turned it off, now all notifications appears. if you have an app like that it may be the problem.

beside make sure that you allow notifications from app from your phone settings

hope I helped :smiling-face:

OK. I have a Dual Sim A71. A personal SIM and a Work SIM installed. Work SIM & Personal sims both have different Ringtones & Message/Notification sounds. When I have my call and message sounds unmuted the calls work (audible ringtone) but i dont recieve message tones. Yes, all settings are correct.

So I have tried everything  suggested over the last couple of days.

I have a samsung watch and UnderArmour JBL headphones both connected to bluetooth.

As soon as I disable the bluetooth on the phone the text messages and all other notifications work

i.e I get an audible notification.

Turn the bluetooth back on with changing any other settings on the Phone and Phone calls come through loud and clear but no notification tones or vibration.

THIS IS A SOFTWARE ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED..........NOT IGNORED.
