Hi all

I have had several phones supplied by different companies on my EE account over the past decade. Phones supplied with contract and so no invoice.

Want to re use some of these phones (today an A5) and after hard reset I am getting FRP issues with, I think, the Google side of things.

Using the correct user details to log in. (Tested and confirmed on other handsets and laptop) but on the A5 I am getting a constant messages either 'Somthing went wrong' or 'sign in with account previously used ith device' which I am doing.

So, I can go to my local Samsung shop to help, but with no proof of purchase is it worth it? and even if yes, would the cost of repair be more than the device?

Thanks for your help.

You can ring EE and ask for a proof of purchase. However if the device is over 24 months old there would be a cost to repair. Samsung would quote you this before they repair so you can decide at that point if it is worth it
