I've just purchased an New A25 which was advertised as a UK version but had a damaged box. I already had a Galaxy Tab A so the phone was added to my Registered Products automatically.
Against the phone it says "Additional services are limited for products not purchased in your current location. Please check for the country location of purchase." There is no 'Get Support' button at the side either.
Is this phone not a UK version with full Samsung Warranty?

This is what it shows for my A25 5G, if it's the UK/Europe version it will show A256B/DSN. I don't why it's showing location in Brazil, I'm in the UK.

According to the box it was manufactured in India.

I have just received my order of the A25 5G and at some stage the box has been opened and resealed with a sticker saying
European model: this product was originally put on the market by Samsung in a European country which was not the UK. This model model was brought into the UK by Brand Smart Ltd which has opened the packaging and made the following changes: replaced the existing firmware on the product with an English firmware variant and Samsung has been notified of these changes.
It's so frustrating because we avoided places like Amazon and Ebay, ordering from AO.com, thinking they were more reliable.
I feel we should have been informed about this before we ordered.
Where do we stand now? Are we covered by Samsung, does anyone know?
Any help with understanding this would be greatly appreciated. We haven't opened the box. Would you send it back if it was your purchase?
Thanks for your time.

The model sold in the UK is the European model, which covers the whole of Europe, there is no seperate UK model. The list of country codes on the box includes the UK.
You say you haven't opened the box yet claim "replaced the existing firmware on the product with an English firmware variant". There's no such thing.

Are you often that distrusting? I say I haven't opened the box because, well, I haven't. You can see it is slightly open on one side. That's how it came and what alerted us to a potential problem in the first place. It is closed on the other end by the sticker. The one with the information I painstakingly typed out for you. And that was an effort as I had a stroke 5 months ago and am only managing to type at all using predictive text, but thanks for.....what? Assuming I was lying and doing all that for nothing? Trolling? I am at a loss to understand what you think is happening here.
If there's anyone else out there that can, perhaps, answer my query without assuming the worst about me, I would be grateful.
I thought that was what this site was for?
