I recently bought my Samsung Galaxy A55 device. And I dropped it and now there are cracks in my middle camera lens. So will my warranty be covered in that or not? Also do I have to use Lens protector from now on??? Also how much time does it take to replace the lens if so done in Samsung centres?

Hi @10Zin1 unfortunately the cracks to the lens would not be covered under the standard warranty, this is considered to be accidental damage. I am assuming you do not have Samsung Care plus or other insurance. As for lens protector it is your choice but Samsung recommends not using them due to possibe damage when removing them and can effect quality. so would need to be careful if you go down this route.
It is not possible to be definitive on repair, does need inspection before work is carried out and depends on demand at given time.
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Hello 👋 @10Zin1
A Samsung Service Centre would have to assess the phone to determine whether this is covered under the Samsung Manufacturer's Warranty or not.
In regards to camera lens protectors I've used the Spigen Ez Fit Lens Protectors on my Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra, which are easy to fit and caused no detrimental effect on my photos, or hindered the little mic hole that's sometimes on the ring for video sound.
It's a personal choice to use them or not.
They are pretty hardy and take some to scratch or damage.
Usually a good case that provides a lip around the camera module is enough.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎

Hello,
Got my A55 in yellow few months ago. Sadly the Phone's durability is concerning. My Phone did not even drop down on floor, but on my laptop and it got a crack on the back glass edge.
Had approached the service center to get a quote for the back glass replacement. Was wondering if it is a good idea to replace and would the replaced back glass look as good as the original.
Any suggestions anybody ? Thank you !!!
New here , apologies if this is not the right place to post
