Hi, I'm looking to purchase the Galaxy A54 5G, and whilst searching for a good price I came across one on Amazon, (sold by amazon and sent by amazon). Though it's just £12 cheaper than on the Samsung site it comes with an extended manufacturer's warranty of 3 years which is of interest to me. The model number is F-MA546BZKDAMA which seems exclusive to Amazon. Samsung providing 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates which is also of interest. However, nowhere on the Amazon listing does it confirm that it also has the same amount of updates and it seems impossible to actually ask anyone at Amazon the question other than the existing customers. I'm thinking that the reason why Amazon don't mention the updates is because it comes as standard from Samsung? Has anyone got an answer to this, as I don't want to rush out and purchase from amazon for the 3 years warranty and then lose out on the updates.

This phone is superb and yes we can expect the same 5 years of updates and UI 6 too which is the new Android 14 set up. I got the same deal on Amazon last week £274 from the warehouse perfect. I got it for a brighter screen for my drone

Thanks for that info, it's appreciated. You say you got the same deal for £274?

Same phone sorry mate it was on offer last week down from £399 but in amazon warehouse other prices under the buy now tab it had them for as low as £254 used but just sent back new and up to £279 so I got the £279 one. I only got it as a back up for my drone as I say but it's very impressive. I have the A22 5G also which fine but this does seem better. The screen, scrolling and my A22 is not bad at all. If ya can get it with 3 year warranty for a cheaper price then go for it yal be happy

For the sake of £12 I would buy it from Samsung Direct.

You'll be eligible for any beta software if that's important to you in future and you'll get the right region device.

In some cases cheaper devices, whilst genuine, may come from other parts of the world and may cause you some concerns.

If the price difference was large, then maybe but for me, not for £12.

Maybe see if Samsung might do you a deal over the phone or see if they'll throw a charger in or something. Don't know if you don't ask. 👌
I am not employed by Samsung nor do I receive any remuneration as a Samsung Members Star.

My device is an S25 Ultra.

Thanks, I was looking at the extended warranty rather than the £12.

It's on every page mate indr buy now ya see OTHER OFFERS click that and ya see all the other prices where people just buy things and send them back so Amazon list them cheaper. I always look in there. Look under Buy Now and Add to basket yal see Other Offers and it will say from example if a product is 400 it will say something like from 315 etc click it and yal see a list of all the other prices
