I bought some new earphones and when I connect them to my phone through Bluetooth I can only listen to calls, no audio. I have checked that the settings were on for audio, reset the earphones and my phone, but nothing seems to work.

Have you tried connecting them to a different device as well?
That's really strange

Hopefully not a silly question but when you connect to audio through your Bluetooth, have you checked that the sound is turned up? Play audio, turn up volume whilst playing.

I ask as many new Samsung devices are more personalized. So the volume setting for calls can be different to that for audio but you use the same buttons on the side to change both.

Sorry if you've checked this already though.

Well I don't understand that, I regularly use wireless Bluetooth connecting earphones speakers, not 1 problem ever and compared to just plugging in earphones the way these work shouldn't cause any problems. And I'm referring to my a12, but if I remember rightly, take away the ability to control with the volume buttons. And control the volume on the music app you're using as the song is playing, hope you follow as this should solve it, as instead of volume the buttons will actually control song next/previous but does actually drop volume without you knowing not just control previous/next song. Control the volume, like I say on the song play app.
