Forced Gemini AI with new UI7 update

Only just noticed  after trying to turn off my A16 phone whilst at a funeral.

That stupid update forced Gemini on me. I had to prey that nobody phoned me. Holding the side button called up the AI did not allow me to shut down. Like it always has done.

Eventually found how to switch back. I  do NOT want gemini. Disabling the gemini app had no effect. If I  pressed the start butto , up popped  gemini.

You cannot even get rid of the app.

There is no power off option.  It is a nightmare to shut the phone down.  Fine if you have large hands.  I have to try over and over before
