Email password recovery

I have a .org.uk email account installed via the Samsung email app on my A3 phone. I need to tell a colleague the password for this account so that he can use it too. I have not needed to enter the password for a long time, so I've forgotten it. I can see from the app that the password is 8 characters, but how can I find out what it is please? There is no visible "I've forgotten my password" feature........
