Hello everyone,
Since 2 or 3 weeks our employees can't connect to our Wi-Fi networks anymore. We have 3 SSID's were they can't connect with. They get the message that they can't obtain the IP address. Employees in our organization that use an Iphone don't have this problem, only Samsung users so far. I own a A71 myself and I haven't had this problem yet. When they configure a static IP address it works, but this isn't what we want in the organization.
Things we have already tried:
-Change the name of the device
-Turn on/off airplane mode
-Forget network settings
-Reset the network settings
-Peform a software update
I really hope any of you could help me out with this problem, since it started like 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Maybe it has to do with the new software update?
Thanks in advance,
Zenna

Hi @zenna121, good afternoon.
Thank you for reaching out! What are the model numbers which can't make a connection to the WI-FI network? And are these phones up-2-date? Do you also experience this when the phones are started in safe mode? For more information about safe mode, take a look at our site: How to start my Galaxy device in Safe mode | Samsung
Keep me posted!
Kind regards,
Martijn

Hi @MartijnK,
For us the solution was starting the phone in safe mode and connect with the specific SSID.
When they leave safe mode, the connection is still active and the problem is hereby solved.
Thank you for your quick anwser!

Hi @MartijnK ,
First of all thanks for your reply.
There are multiple models of Samsung that have these problems in our organisation.
Some examples are a Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy A32, Samsung Galaxy A52s
All the devices have the latest software update.
We are going to try and reboot into safe mode to see if the device will connect with the Wi-Fi network.
I will let you know if that did anything.
Thanks in advance,
Zenna
