Help! My Samsung A34 keeps disconnecting from WiFi saying 'connected without Internet'. However Internet is fine and coming through on all other devices. I've followed all steps including forgetting network, clearing cache partition, soft reset, factory reset etc. I've even had a new router from my Internet company. Nothing works. This connectivity issue only seems to happen on my WiFi at home. If I turn WiFi off and on again on my phone it's fine and jumps back into action.....the problem occurs a number of times per day but can be ok for periods of time in the day. It appears the phone will have to go to Samsung repair to be looked at, but I'm concerned that the problem is intermittent and a) it might not happen whilst they look at it and b) it seems to only happen on my WiFi at home. It's still under warranty however if the technicians can't find a fault it'll be marked as 'fine' which it isn't. Do you have any advice, anything I can try that might fix it myself?

If you replaced your router with the same model, then it could pinpoint any particular connection issues / config settings with that model.

Great ok... I'll look into this. This is probably where my knowledge runs out, how would I configure it differently or even diagnose a config issue?

I can see my phone on there (my phone is currently ok but does keep dropping today, so I can check again when it is mid drop out). It is on Band 2 5 GHz.

Both band 1 and band 2 are enabled. But devices are on band 2. There us no heavy use or streaming going on to cause issues there btw. Not sure what else I look for here.... Does this help at all?

2.5ghz? Did you mean 2.4Ghz. Can you try the 5ghz band and see if that helps? 2.4Ghz isn't good for high traffic.

In the past month I have tried switching it between the bands and it still drops out regardless of which band it is on....

I'm with Talk Talk, it looks like a Sagemcom model...does that sound correct?

Thanks. Just had a look at Talk Talk forums. Lots of problems with their Sagecom routers. Have you got access to their forums as it may be worth reaching out to them to. Here's one thread regarding your issue.

Oh blimey...... looks like the issue...yes. Not sure how I'll tackle this, as it was hard enough to get them to send me a new router.... how I'll get a different brand I don't know 🙈 I'll contact Talk talk and try get somewhere with them. Do you think I should be asking for a different make of router? Thank you for pointing me in this direction.....
