Bluetooth headset won't answer calls since recent software updates

Anyone else having issues with bluetooth headsets being unablunable to answer, hear or make phone calls from ?

In the past month all my bluetooth headphones will not work with my galaxy A52S mobile phone. I've uninstall the headphones, repaired, updated headset software all without success.

If I'm listening to media and receive a phone call I can't hear it in the headphones, the phone call stays with the phone.

 The headsets all work for calls with iphone OI and an old android phone with a version of android OI of 3, but not mine which is 6.1, android version 14.

Anyone know of any updates to correct this issue?

on my side, the workarround has been ok for 48 hours and then ... same problem

On my side, it is fine for me up to now. Have you encountered any errors such as 'SIM not inserted'? I believe the problem is SIM-related. I assume you have already changed all SIM-related apps to 'Unrestricted'. Do you remember what might have caused the issue to reappear (e.g., installing an app or dropping the phone)? An improperly seated SIM card may also trigger the issue.

I think my problems are caused as soon as I connect my BT watch or fitness band.

Every workaround last for some days, and then it is back again.

I reset all the app permissions three days ago. Problem is gone for now, but I expect it to be back after a while

I didn't experienced any "SIM errors" and I've double-checked all the SIM-related apps are set to "unrestricted" in my case, the time line is : - double check all the BT and SIM-related apps are set to "unrestricted" - reset the AVRCP to "1.5 (default)" - restart the phone - all has been ok till Tuesday evening - then problem is back (nothing special in the meanwhile) - and ... I've just made another test this morning (without restarting the phone), it works ... it look's like very unstable ...

Changing the battery settings to SIM apps has solved the problem for me for at least four days... Fingers crossed. And thanks for this fix!

It works 99% fine since more than 2 weeks

the only glitch is that it can switch back from car / headset => phone for a few seconds in the middle of a call. It happens only randomly, and last only a few seconds, so it's ok.
