Biometric Authentication Issues on Galaxy A06 with Banking Apps (JazzCash, Easypaisa, etc.)

The Samsung Galaxy A06 users in Pakistan have reported issues with biometric authentication when using financial applications such as Jazz Cash, Easypaisa, and various banking apps. These problems often manifest as errors or failures during fingerprint verification within these apps.

Thats the issue, the phone does everywhere else in the world. So the only answer could really be the apps not supporting the phone correctly somehow

hahahhahha...... Issue is in Mobile, not in app. You are not recognising the issue in the Samsung Galaxy A06

I'm trying to say, the biometrics system works in every other country. And your country gets the same model phone as other countries. So it has to be something your banking apps all do that other country apps don't.

As some more explanation, the S series phones different models for different countries, so it'd make sense if a single country had issues. But since everyone gets the same a06, and other places work, it can't be the phone.

Maybe the phone is doing something different, but it works in other places

Bank app, Jazzcash app, uphone app, easypaisa app, all work on other devices/brands, as on Oppo, ViVo, Infinix, Nokia, then why not working on Samsung A06. It,s obvious that there is issue in Samsung A06. I expect, you will come on point and perceive it.

Anyway, like I said, check app compatibility with your phone.

And the bank App cache, it will not wipe data from your phone, but do it carefully so you don't touch wrong buttons or wipe the wrong thing.

Hi all. I've merged two threads together as they cover the same thing. (I've also edited one of your posts that had your phone number in iqbal1313, as that's something best not shared on a public platform.)

(Unsure if UK/Ireland Members app users can open those links on the app, but thought I'd post them anyway.)

 

As I said in my post earlier, it's best to raise this issue on the Samsung Pakistan Community and with Samsung Pakistan Support (https://www.samsung.com/pk/info/contactus/ ) as it'll make the local Samsung team more aware of it and how widespread it is. Unsure if you guys in Pakistan have the same error reporting feature on the Members app as we do, but if it helps:

 

As soon as you can after the issue occurs (within 15 minutes is best):

 

Samsung Members > Support > Send feedback > Error Reports > [select error type] > choose frequency of issue, and write an accurate and good description (and attach any screenshots/pictures/videos showing the issue if you want/are able to) > tick ‘Send system log data’ > Send (the > icon on the top right).

 

(Or, for a shortcut: Long-press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen, and select 'Error reports' from the dropdown menu, and follow the steps from there.)

 

That will send that report and log files for the Samsung developers to analyse. The more good error reports with log files the developers get the better for resolving the issue.

Ok, perceived
