BBC sounds App not working on wifi

Bit of help needed. For some unknown reason the BBC. Sounds app on my A51 will not work using WiFi. It will work no bother using mobile data so the app is fine. The mobile has no other issues using WiFi so my WiFi is fine too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the BBC sounds app but still only works using mobile data. I checked the app on a S20 and it works no problem using WiFi. I'm stumped.

Anyone got any thoughts?

I've been having thus exact issue and found all the bbc apps affected but worked on data and my sons WiFi. I tried deleting apps clearing cache etc etc no use.  So I didnt understand a lot of this discussion but just tried the simplest suggestion turn router off and on again and this sorted it.  Thank you!

Try this.  It worked for me when new broadband was installed.  Go to your router settings and turn off IPv6.
