Moderators have been given an update on this by specialists, unfortunately there is no timeframe for Adaptive aptX but Samsung Scaleable is said to be offer similar technology.  Whilst this statement refers to S10 and S20 @AntS  thinks it will be similar for other relevant Devices.

Moderators have got update  on APTX  and seems no timeframe for Adaptive APTX at present,   but specialists state that Samsung Scaleable  is very similar.

At the moment S10 and S20 series support traditional aptX.
What it does offer, however, is Samsung Scalable. That is closely similar to Adaptive AptX, but has a wider range of bitrates. Samsung Scalable can scale to any bitrate between 88kbps to 512kbps, and should be always using the bitrate that provides best quality audio while maintaining a stable connection. Adaptive AptX only scales between 279 to 420kbps."

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Samsung scalable only works with Samsung audio devices. We NEED to have aptx adaptive and the full suite. It's so unfair to pay for a flagship that does not take advantage of advanced audio devices. We buy android for its flexibility, stop trying to be like Apple.

Hi! Is there any news on this? It's unbelivable that Samsung is not even responding. We need to have HD and Adaptative atpx codecs available in our devices! I have an A52S device with a Qualcomm processor and does not have this option. Please Samsung, answer.

Hi. I'm using my A70 smartphone and I'm going to buy Sennheiser Momentum TW 3 earbuds. But I really want to be sure that it's a good choice.
When I go to developer options page, and find this menu of bluetooth audio Codecs, I face options that are unselectable. Is it possible to choose if the device is connected? Or will they remain unselectable again?

Thanks for your attention. I hope to receive a suitable answer soon.

Yeah come on Samsung! I have my S23 ultra 3 days now, and my music sounds ***** compared to my Sony Xperia in my car stereo.

Give us back aptx and aptxHD! 1600$ down the drain, for a so called flagship phone! Even the other cheaper brands got it.

How hard can this be? Iast Samsung for me. Going back to Sony.

Hej. Har du mon fået et svar, da jeg hellere ikke har mulighed for at ændre audio codecs til Atpx, da den er nedtonet.
