A55 Missing Promised AI Features in One UI 7 — Despite Same Specs as A56

Hello Samsung,

I’m writing as a Galaxy A55 user who’s seriously concerned about the lack of Galaxy AI and Intelligence features on this device — especially when those same features have been added to the Galaxy A56, which belongs to the exact same mid-range series and has nearly identical specs.

During your own official announcements, you clearly stated that some Galaxy AI features would be coming to the A series with One UI 7. However, when One UI 7 was released, none of these AI or Intelligence features were included for the Galaxy A55 despite it being one of your most recent and capable A-series models.

It’s hard to understand the reasoning behind offering features like Call Transcription, Live Translate, Browsing Assist, .... exclusively on the A56, while the A55, with nearly identical hardware, is left behind.

This seems less like a technical limitation and more like a marketing-driven decision, which feels unfair to your loyal users. You’ve already rolled out Circle to Search separately for A55, proving the device is capable of handling advanced features.

We urge you to provide a clear explanation or, ideally, bring these AI features to the A55 in future updates, as many of us in the community are closely watching and expecting fair support.

You're posting in the UK/EU forum, and to my understanding, here the A55 does have those features—such as circle to search.

Also- its best to submit feedback in samsung members app- support- feedback

No worries at all, I appreciate the follow up.

And yes, I agree the Members app is definitely the most direct way to send feedback to Samsung, and I already submitted it there as well.

Still, I think posting here helps too  sometimes Samsung reps or community moderators do read and respond, and at the very least, it helps raise awareness among users facing the same thing.

Hopefully they’ll reconsider adding these features to the A55. It really feels unfair that two nearly identical devices get such different treatment.
