Hi all,
I have had my A56 for 2 weeks now. Love the phone, but have some issues with push notifications. Some apps are reluctant to send push notifications, but not all of them.
The annoying thing is, that the apps I REALLY NEED push notifications from are apps that don't give them, such as the apps my kids school, daycare and swimming lessons (such as Social Schools, Konnect Ouderportaal, Rotterdam Zwemt) use. As they send important messages I am now forced to keep checking these apps manually for news. There are more apps that don't send push notifications, but these are the most important ones.
I have tried the following actions, with no success in getting push notifications:
- turning the phone on and off again;
- logging out and in of the apps;
- reinstalling the apps;
- check settings in apps and phone for push notifications (everything is on);
- changing settings in apps and phone (turning notifications off and on again);
- removing permission for sending push notifications, and allowing push notifications again;
- removing cache;
- removing data;
- praying to God;
- hailing Satan;
- threaten the phone I'll get him replaced if he doesn't do what needs to be done;
- chanting for the flying spaghetti monster in the sky.
All apps are updated to the latest version, I really am getting very frustrated as I do have more to do in a day than checking these apps every hour.
