any ideas what appcloud is?

I found this popping up on occasion in my notifications and I've not installed it. Any idea on what it could be used for?

It is adware that comes preinstalled.  I disabled it, and the phone is a lot faster now.

I just got the A02s and this appcloud was pre installed. It's downloading stuff without my permission all by itself. Dumb games and such taking up space. I just force quit the appcloud app so i'm not sure if it is needed for normal operation of the phone.

I've recently upgraded my A40 to the A52 5G and to my surprise that app cloud is no longer present on the phone. Its the same with my mum and my sis who are on A21s

Samsung gets commission and data share with these app developers, mostly from Israel so you know your data is going somewhere useful....
