Can anyone tell me how I find   clipboard  on my phone

Try a long press on some text and should get a pop up menu with Copy, Select All, Clipboard, Share etc etc

I've just tried it and I get everything you said EXCEPTthe word CLIPBOARD. it just does not appear. what else can I try ?

Yeah just realised it doesn't always appear - if you are using the Samsung keyboard then if you open the keyboard and before you type anything press the 3 dots at the top right of keyboard and then should get option for clipboard - seems if you have started typing then the 3 dots bring up more word options instead

Also you can touch and drag the clipboard icon up to the top menu on the keyboard - again seems you need to do it before you've typed anything - hope this helps
