Android Auto connection issue

I have 2 Galaxy A14 5G phones and a (Android auto wireless capable) 2024 Hyundai Kona Essential AWD with the standard infotainment system, non navigation. Both phones have always had issues with connecting to Android Auto (wireless, wired connects fine). However, after 1 to 5 phone projection attempts from the Kona screen, the phones do get (wireless) connected. The phone always shows "Looking for Android Auto" in the notification bar while trying to (wireless) connect.
Here is a video of trying to (wireless) connect one of the phones.

I've discovered that after a failed (wireless) connect attempt, if I turn off Bluetooth, in the phone, for 3 seconds and turn it back on, (wireless) Android Auto will, more often than not, pop up on the Kona infotainment screen without further intervention.
Another, maybe (AA wireless connect) related issue is that I don't get a ringtone in the Kona, I get the incoming call popup but silence instead of the ringtone. If I turn off ring tone sync in the phone's advanced Bluetooth settings, I get a default ringtone from the Kona infotainment system when a call comes in.
Since last April, I've worked with Hyundai, Samsung members and Android Auto support but they all gave up. (did cache clear, network reset, AA update, updated firmware, factory reset on both phones, multiple times, as requested).
Someone at the dealership connected a Galaxy S22 without a problem.
Since toggling the phone Bluetooth connects (wireless) Android Auto along with the Bluetooth ringtone sync issue and a S22 connected fine, I feel the problem is in the A14 5G phones.

I'm hoping someone at Samsung will read this and get someone from technical support involved to fix the issues. (Samsung Members wouldn't escalate the case)
Of course any input is welcome.

After messing around with the phones, I thought I had to toggle WiFi and Bluetooth off and on to get the wireless Android Auto to connect.
Turns out that all that is required is to turn Bluetooth off for 3-5 seconds, when it is turned back on, Android Auto pops up on the Kona infotainment screen, without further intervention.
Hopefully others with A14 5G will read this and it makes things a little better for them.
