Greeting! I have a samsung galaxy A72 mobile phone and today I received a notification about a software update. After doing this, my mobile phone keeps crashing, and it doesn't show the selected operator (service). It also mostly crashes when I try to check the software version and when I try to go into apps like Members or SmartThings. I have reset the mobile phone several times, turned it off and on, removed the SIM card, but nothing so far. Thanks in advance!

Hello @Valexy and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👍

I'm sorry to hear your experiencing this issue with your phone. 😔

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-galaxy-smartphone-has-frozen-how-do-i-restart-i...

1. Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

2. Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. Alternatively long press the power off button and then long hold on Turn Off to get to Safe Mode.

3. Send feedback to Samsung via your Samsung Members App for help.

4. Back up and factory reset as a very last resort.

Please let us know how you get on.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Hello and thanks for the advice. I tried everything and the only thing that worked was resetting the device to factory settings. Now the device works as before. Have a nice day and thank you!
