Hi all,

My phone did not start, and stuck at the boot. In fact it stopped at the Android Recovery screen.  The

Reboot system now

Reboot to bootloader

Apply update from ADB

Apply update from SD card

Wipe data/factrory reset

Wipe cache partition

...."

options were shown  on the screen. I selected "wipe data/factory reset" , after that factory reset, I turned off the phone and restarted it but it stuck at the boot again, displayed  "Samsung Galaxy A71" screen, the screen just showed the Samsung logo after that it restarted again. Did not properly boot up it entered into a infinite loop.

@acelyamanolya5: Access to Recovery Mode is usually achieved by pressing the Volume Up and Side Keys together when powering on the device. With this in mind, please can you check to see if your Volume and Side keys are sticking at all, as this might explain why it is persistently booting into Recovery Mode.

If the above is not applicable, then please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and get in touch via your preferred contact method, and an advisor will be able to assist you further, and arrange an engineer's inspection.

Alternatively, you can arrange the inspection yourself  via the Samsung Members app > Support > Other ways to get help > Request service.

Sorry for my unclear statements about the problem, in fact the phone did not go into recovery mode itself. It is in an infinite loop, such that when I power it up, it  first displays "Samsung Galaxy A71 Secured By Knox" then displays "Samsung", then restarts itself and displays the same things again. This is an infinite loop, to break that loop, I pressed volume up+power button to drop into recovery mode, selected "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" then rebooted the phone but it did not worked.  Entering into the recovery options by pressing volume up+power button I tried every option in the menu but did not succeed.

Thank you for your guidance

@acelyamanolya5: Thank you for clarifying that for me. If your phone is stuck in a boot loop, and the issue has persisted followed a factory data reset using Recovery mode, then I recommend arranging for the phone to be inspected by an authorised Samsung engineer. With this in mind, please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the page > Contact us, and get in touch via your preferred contact method, and an advisor will be able to make the necessary arrangements for you.

Let me guess, it's one of the recent updates that caused it right? How did I know!
