Hi all.
I purchased a Samsung A55 recently. I noticed how the 5g wasnt as good as my previous phone. Thought nothing of it. Then realised next to my partners A52s 5g that during browsing websites and downloading mine would frequently disengage 5g and was slower on speed tests than the A52. Same network. I even swopped aims to check this and it was the same. Then I found that every time I tried to use GPS it would either not work at all and lose GPS or it would work and then start to not quite no your location think your were another 20 mins down the road and then just say searching for GPS and GPS signal lost. Not useful when you are doing 70mph down motorway on way to an appointment.
I went on Samsung website to try and get in touch and went on an automated system. A week later spoke to Samsung chat I said I would try it again over the weekend and then I spoke to them again another couple of days later by this point I was at the end of my tether and just wanted a refund. The people on Samsung chat don't seem to know how their own process and policy. Emblazoned on Samsungs website works. I.e. if a product is faulty then according to their process you can have refund or replacement with 30days. (Which this was) I wanted a refund. I didn't trust Samsung quality after this. Got this person on chat to agree to this and now I find that rather than a refund I have another Samsung A55 heading to me via DPD. I don't trust the people on chat. I think they don't know what they are doing. Is there another way to contact Samsung? Do they look at this community? I think the next step is to do a section 75 chargeback. I don't even want the phone they are sending out! I've already moved on to something else.
Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks glenntech. As soon as I sent it back I went back to a Xiaomi. I've found a number for Samsung shop now so will try calling them when I get the chance.
