Hi, I have a Samsung A54 phone and I also wear hearing *****. Since getting this phone I have been able to stream my phone calls and listen to things like BBC Sounds. However, of late, and very often, if I receive a phone call, I have to go to Settings, turn Bluetooth off, then back on again in order for me to stream to my *****.
The question I would like answered is, does this indicate a fault on my phone, or is it possible I've got my phone set up wrongly.
I will add, that I paired my hearing ***** and added the app on to my wife's phone and it worked perfectly well for the two days I tried it.
Anyone any ideas please.

Mike

@OldMikeE: To troubleshoot the issue, please start by pressing the Volume Down and Side Keys together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, as this will refresh the device and address any temporary issues. Don't worry, this won't affect your personal data or settings.

You should also make sure that your device is up to date by heading to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Following these steps, please head back to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > On > Tap the cog symbol to the right of your hearing aids, select 'Unpair', toggle Bluetooth off, then on again, and run through the connection process once again. Alternatively, head to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing enhancements > Hearing aid support > Hearing aid compatibility > On > Bluetooth hearing aids (tap to connect) > Follow the on-screen prompts.

Once you have completed the connection process, head back to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > On > Tap the 3 dots to the right of the hearing aids > Check here to see if Calls and Media can be toggled on.

Hi AndrewL, thank you very much for that, I've carried your suggestion and at the moment both hearings *****, have paired and I can see in "connections" and Bluetooth that 2 devices connected. This tells me that if I receive a call I will be streaming through both *****. The proof now will be tomorrow, to see if I still have a connection. Previously via settings and Bluetooth it just says "Mike" which is the name I've given my hearing *****. In this mode I have learnt that if I get a phone call it will only come through one of my *****. Anyway, I'll know tomorrow, much appreciated. Mike

Hi AndrewL, just to say that my phone has gone back to just the one hearing aid. Thank you again for your help, it did look like I might have been in with a good chance of sorting this. I do wonder now if I should consider a new phone, or whether this sort of issue can be repaired. Mike
