I was just wondering if I'm the only one with his problem- on settings on my old and new device thiers this 'cashe' clearing thing but it doesn't work, at all, and I want to kjwo it's it's a me thing cause apparently it takes up a high chunk of ym storage but when I clear it and then exit it of it the casbe is all still there and the only way ia actually get it cleared is if I go into every. Single. App. On my devices. Just wondering if I'm doing it wrong? Cause it doesn't clear even when I press the bottom to do so (in the storage files part not the individual apps)

Hello 👋 @ballek and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

It can sometimes be a bit tricky to get into that menu fkr some but it should clear lots of the junk files.

Unfortunately right now clearing the apps individually can be the best resort.

And or a factory reset as a very last resort.

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
