Myself and my parnter have Saumsung phones and since the last update a couple of weeks ago keep getting Moisture/Foreign Object warning when charging. We have followed fixes on YouTube and on here will some working for 1 charge then it does it again.
We have tried clearing the USB settings cache and date, safe mode charging, turning off when plugged in, forced stopped apps. Short of the phones going through the window don't know what else to try.

This seems to be a relatively common issue on Samsung galaxy phones. Widely reported online. It's happened to my A536E phone, just 4 months out of the 24 month warranty. No amount of messing around with the many solutions posted online resolved it. The only solution was to get the port replaced. Problem solved.
The part is around NZ$30/US$20. Replacement labour cost will vary, or you can do it yourself (if you are skilled at such things, and have the right tools, etc.).
It sucks that Samsung have introduced this "safety" feature, which then fails and makes the phone completely unusable. It's making me think twice about what brand of phone I will get next.

When I spoke to them I said they need to look at all the comments online and they just said that the complaints are only a small proportion of what they sell so wasn't a big issue!!. When speaking with our mobile phone insurers who we got a replacement through that we not have the issues with they said that there were originally complaints about the folding phone breaking again said no issues but them brought out a new one that specifically targeted the previous issue and expected customer to pay for the replacement.
Myself and my partner have bought new phones but not samsungs and will not be buying their phones again.

Tried all of that with both phones and also mine that had the same issue. Mine will no longer charge at all and partners charged intermittently. We have resorted to buying new phones, not samsungs due to the issues and them not accepting that there is an issue despite the numerous online posts about it
