I accidentally left my phone on for around 3 hours when I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was very hot.
I checked the temperature in the CPU-Z app and it was at most at 45°-46° on one thermal sensor and around 40-41°C on battery. I left the phone to cool on the desk and it took around 10 good minutes for it to cool down.
I haven't noticed any screen burn-in, I checked that with Screen Check app, which is displaying basic colors on the whole screen. I took my plastic case off and I didn't notice any battery degradation or swelling yet.
Except for the fact that before this happened, the phone had around 70% battery and now it has 25%. Should I be worried?
Can I charge the battery and keep using the phone like normal or should I take it to the service centre, so the service can fix the overheating and change the battery? If yes, then is something like this covered in warranty?
Model name is Galaxy A34 5G

I left the phone on the drawer near my bed. Before I fell asleep, I remember I was waiting for a message from my family member and then after that, the rest of this happened. I disabled screen timeout, because I like to control the timeout on my own and now I see that wasn't a good idea... I took a look into the battery section and it seems like the app that have caused all the battery drainage in the background, seemed to be the ChatGPT app. As of writing this, I have uninstalled it, but why did it happen? I haven't had any issues with ChatGPT app in the past. Also, I haven't seen any overheating warnings at all. I will look into if other users had any issues with the said app. Thanks for your response

There are no faults either in the diagnostic checks. I guess, it's going to be fine to use then (after I deleted that app), but I will be observing the phone's condition over the next few weeks just to make sure

I set the screen timeout to 5 minutes. I hope it will be enough, because I find 2 minutes timeout to be too quick for me

Oh, you're right. My phone supports this feature. I have no idea, how I didn't notice it earlier. It might have been overlooked by me, I suppose. I will try that out, thank you for helping me
