Myself and my parnter have Saumsung phones and since the last update a couple of weeks ago keep getting Moisture/Foreign Object warning when charging. We have followed fixes on YouTube and on here will some working for 1 charge then it does it again.
We have tried clearing the USB settings cache and date, safe mode charging, turning off when plugged in, forced stopped apps. Short of the phones going through the window don't know what else to try.

Before launching both phones into outer space, try a different cable/charger combination. Could be something simple like a dodgy cable or charger.
Try hard reset
With the device powered up, Hold the Volume down button and Power button simultaneously for 10 seconds. The screen will go off. Continue to hold buttons until the device vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. Release buttons. Device will reboot. Once done, please check if the issue is resolved.
Ultimately, could factory reset both devices. Back up any important data first.

Sorry for delay, we had tried that, again didn't work. Phone now completely dead so can't back anything up and won't charge

Thank you for the options and link. It works for a while and charges then once unplugged won't charge again. Did live chat on Samsung and they again went through everything we have done. They said only option is to back up the phone and do master reset however due to being unable to charge overnight battery now dead and unable to charge.
There is obviously a software / update issue as I have an A53 and it has done this with mine but seems to have stopped.

I have updated my a54 2 days ago and then it went out of battery... ut when I plugged in it started indicated a moisture in the USB port, but the phone is dry. .. I cannot fix it as the battery is dead.... Probably, will send it to the service...

I have the same issue...nothing seems to work to resolve this...whatever you try. If it does eventually starts charging...it comes right back on your next charge...PLEASE SAMSUNG HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
