A50 videos in fast foward, no sound mode.

Since my last update my A50 is playing videos in fast forward mode. The sound will not play either. No sound for alarm, music or videos either. I've reset the phone several times, that helped at first. I removed the SD and sim card, that helped once too. Nothing since despite factory restting the phone. First I had a mic issue which needs repairing and now this, help!!!

Seems like Samsung doesn't have a solution for this.

There are some things that could be the reason -

1. Software Problem - Most likely it's not a software problem but if you feel it is, do a clean install.

2. Hardware Problem - Some components need to be repaired (strips mainly). Get it tightened/replaced.

Worth case scenario - Problem is with motherboard. You have to replace it.

It's the ***** motherboard. After I tried everything I found on web and nothing worked, I finally brought it for repair. They said they never seen anything like that and that it is cause by motherboard but they weren't sure what exactly was wrong there. So... 1. buy new phone, 2.  replace by another old motherboard, 3. replace motherboard with new (more expensive) motherboard.

I also have the same problem, its 2023 now and still suffering to these problems, i thought that maybe someone just hack my phone, i notice that this problem usually happen when samsung a50 devices are overheating, i hope samsung would've fix it immediately because samsung a50 is still a worth it phone now on 2023, i am hoping for an update because I believe that this is a software problem

Same issue started happening in my A50, it was working all great and suddenly as the last update came the phone started to fast forward yt videos and no sound in any media or alarm.  Got it repaired at Samsung authorized service center and he replaced some parts and today(almost 4 days) the same issue started.  What are you guys doing at Samsung, is this a trap to make us buy new phones even if the old device is perfectly fine and in working conditions.

A50 doesn't suffer heat. Mine begun showing those issues right after i arrived in a warm country. 5 minutes shutted down in the freezer and it works again. Sure that back in my cold country it will work great again.
