When is beta 2 due to come out??

Yes but not drastically different in design and you would expect some similar working features!! 🙂

Similar looking design on the outside but different SoC so not similar hardware at all, even the camera modules are different. Some features are hardware dependant such as WiFi 6, 5G, the camera zoom levels, etc. and no software can add those features.

I think you miss the point entirely! Obviously there are hardware differences, but you would expect software like that to be forseen! But then thats what betas are for right!

What's the rush? I'd rather they took longer and fixed issues being reported or implemented suggestions etc
