Anyone know why there has to be so much lag between animations on flagship samsung devices? 

Is it me or is one UI quite a bit laggier and more stuttery than say Oxygen OS or Android One devices ? The hardware is just as good if not better.. 

I have the S10 Plus Exynos and I've been using One UI 2.5 for a while and have just installed 3.0 Beta. Both of these have a fair amount of lag it seems, I know it's a 2019 phone but I would still expect more.. Possibly the stable 3.0 update will be smoother ?

I have also had a few S8 plus phones and have noticed similar issues on them as well.

Any way I may be able to improve this ?

Yes, have done thanks, I think this is more of an issues with Samsung phones principally, I just wondered if anyone had an insight into what I could do about it.

all you have to do is "reset all setting" on your phone and you should see an improvement on your device. This worked for me on my S10plus

I have noticed that several other users have exactly the same problem on their devices 😔.

Hopefully this gets fixed quickly!

try the new beta, seems to have fixed this issue for many
